This has become one of those things where the colloquial definition is more proper.
I know the right thing, so I say 'my car doesn't have turbo lag'. In most peoples minds that means I get power from boost at low RPM. I have a high and noticeable boost threshold though, so I've started to just say 'boost doesn't really come on until 3500 RPM' instead of saying turbo lag.

Okay, I'm a little confused. The first comment mentioned boost threshold, but also asked about turbo lag specifically. Could you have missed that? Or is there something that I'm missing?
